Terms and Conditions for Owensboro Dumpster Hub

Welcome to Owensboro Dumpster Hub! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at https://owensborodumpsterhub.com and your rental of roll-off dumpsters and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By booking a dumpster, accessing our website, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Rental Orders and Payment Terms

  • Pricing and Quotes: All quotes provided via our website, phone, or email are estimates based on standard debris types, weight limits, and rental periods. Final charges may include additional fees for excess weight, prohibited items, or extended rental periods.
  • Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of booking or prior to delivery, unless corporate credit terms have been explicitly pre-approved in writing. We accept major credit cards and other designated payment methods.
  • Authorization: By providing a payment method, you authorize Owensboro Dumpster Hub to charge your card for the rental fee, as well as any applicable overage fees, extension fees, or damage charges incurred.

2. Delivery and Placement of Dumpsters

  • Site Access and Readiness: You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location has clear, unobstructed access and a stable, solid surface (such as asphalt or concrete) capable of supporting the heavy weight of a loaded roll-off dumpster and delivery truck.
  • Property Damage Waiver: Owensboro Dumpster Hub is not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, asphalt, pathways, or underground utilities (septic lines, irrigation, etc.) resulting from the weight or placement of the dumpster. Placing wood boards under the container wheels/rollers is recommended but remains the customer’s responsibility unless specified otherwise.
  • Placement Restrictions: You must comply with all local ordinances, homeowner association (HOA) rules, and city codes regarding public street placement or right-of-way permits. You assume all liability for any fines or tickets resulting from improper placement.

3. Rental Period and Permitted Usage

  • Rental Period: The standard rental period is defined at the time of booking (e.g., 7 days, 10 days). Extensions must be requested and approved prior to the end of your rental term and may incur additional daily or weekly rates.
  • Weight Limits: Each dumpster size includes a specific tonnage allowance included in the base rate. Any weight exceeding this limit will be billed pro-rata for excess tonnage disposal fees at current municipal/landfill rates.
  • Prohibited Materials: To comply with Kentucky environmental and landfill regulations, the following items are strictly PROHIBITED from being placed in our dumpsters:
    • Hazardous materials, chemicals, asbestos, and toxic waste
    • Paint, solvents, oils, and automotive fluids
    • Batteries, electronics, and appliances containing Freon
    • Tires, radioactive materials, medical waste, and explosives
    • Asbestos, wet concrete, and industrial sludge
    • Violation of this policy may result in immediate pickup of the dumpster, refusal of disposal, and severe hazardous material handling fines charged directly to the customer.

4. Customer Responsibilities and Liability

  • Loading Guidelines: Dumpsters must not be loaded above the top rim (“level full”). Trucks cannot legally or safely transport overloaded containers. If a dumpster is overloaded, pickup may be refused, or you may be required to offload excess material before transport, which may result in a “dry run” fee.
  • Care of Equipment: During the rental period, you are solely responsible for the security and care of the dumpster. You agree not to modify, burn material inside, paint, or spray chemicals on the container. Any loss, theft, or structural damage to the dumpster while on your site will be billed to you at replacement/repair cost.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your order without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery window. Cancellations made after dispatch or on the day of delivery may be subject to a trip/dispatch fee.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

  • “As Is” Basis: Our Services and website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • Limitation of Liability: Owensboro Dumpster Hub, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your dumpster rental or website usage, including project delays, property disruptions, or contractor fees.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms must be brought exclusively in the courts located in Daviess County, Kentucky.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of our website or services following any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
